We used acrylic pouring to paint an abstract painting of the American flag. Check out the video, follow the steps and learn how to paint using acrylic pouring. It’s easy and so satisfying to watch!
Friends, in this video we’ll show you how we made a quick and easy abstract painting of the American Flag, using the acrylic pouring technique.
The acrylic paint was combined with water, floetrol, and silicone.
The proportions are:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
A few drops (4-5) of silicone fluid
Timestamp:
1. Step 1: We coated the canvas with a white base
2. (min: 00.48) Step 2: We mixed the red and black acrylic paint and poured the lines.
3. (min 02.14) Step 3: We mixed the white and black acrylic paint and poured the lines.
4. (min 03.00) Step 4: We mixed the blue, black and white acrylic paint and poured the square.
5. (min 03.40) Step 5: We handled the canvas and moved the paint on the surface towards the edges.
6. (min 04.40) Step 6: We torched the painting to bring the silicone bubbles up to the surface.
