  1. I really am new to this kind of medium. I bought some cheap set of "Oil" Paints from the store, wanting to experiment and have fun….The fun part was that on the description on the back it said "Acrylic" and "Oil" at the same time, as well as water dissovable, no need of thinners and what not….sounded good. It turns out that when I try to paint with it, I only manage to make a very little stroke before losing consistency and the brush no longer delivers paint on the surface im working on, leaving white spots. It's also non-water-dissolvable as it turns out – liquid soap does the trick for me. So, have I been tricked with these cheap things or do I just need good advice how to use the paint properly? Any thoughts?
