We made another beautiful butterfly, but this time we used syringes and a palette knife. Read the whole description for more details and watch the satisfying video until the end to see the final result. We were going for a butterfly, did we nail it?
Friends, we simply adore this colors! If you’re going to try this at home, please note that we have previously mixed the acrylic paint with floetrol and water. Here are the exact proportions:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
As you can see in the video, first we coated the canvas with a white base, made from white acrylic paint, also prepped with floetrol and water. Then we filled the syringes with the colored acrylic paint and poured the paint in lines on the canvas, and using a palette knife we made this beautiful butterfly. What do you think?
