Check out the gorgeous colors in our latest acrylic pouring project! This time, we experimented with a funnel and a fly swatter and we were not disappointed! Watch the satisfying video until the end to see the final result, and let us know what you think!
Friends, if you’re gonna try this at home, please note that the acrylic paint we used was previously mixed with water and floetrol. Here are the proportions:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
The first thing we did was coat the canvas with a black base – made from black acrylic paint, also prepped with floetrol and water. We poured the colors in the funnel, while covering the hole, then released the paint on the canvas in a spiral shape. Afterwards, we handled the canvas and made some really cool bubbles within the paint, using a fly swatter. We left it for a few seconds for the air within the bubbles to vanish, and sprayed the painting with a silicone spray, to form even more (smaller) cells. What do you think about this experiment?
