Most paint sets that claim to be either made for or suitable for “beginners” share one thing in common that THIS set does not-they all skimp on QUALITY in order to shove a bunch of unnecessary, cheaply made and ineffective junk into one bundle to trick you into thinking you’re getting a good deal when you certainly are not! THIS SET on the other hand gives you exactly what you need in order to start as somebody who has never touched a paintbrush before-or somebody who wants to get back into the craft but aren’t ready to hand over a ton of money building a set from scratch. This is also the perfect gift for all of any age or skill set. I’m already purchasing two more additional sets for my nieces (11 and 13 years old) who both have shown an interest in art and promise in their art classes. The quality of the paints themselves are just opaque enough that the color pay off can be built up for more coverage yet they also blend beautifully into one another without the need for oil or water. Each brush within the set has a designated purpose but they are versatile at the same time which is perfect for beginners. I love the mini-canvas that is included, it’s a great way to practice using each brush, getting used to the different textures and finding your own unique style before moving onto larger projects. The canvas comes primed and ready for paint which is also a great bonus. Also of note, the paints adhere beautifully to the canvas but they do not stain the pallate and brushes(or your hands) as long as you wash with warm water and dish soap before the paint hardens—in that case i’d imagine you’d have to scrape and and scrub it off. In conclusion, I’m so happy I went with this set over the others I looked at and I look forward to gifting this to my nieces!

★★★★★ This is a lovely little paint set and a great value for your money. It contains 24 colors 10 brushes one pallet and a blank canvas. Just what amateur painters need to while away an afternoon during this pandemic. Buying these items separately would’ve cost more and it all came today in one nice little box. I did purchase some other canvases of various sizes but having them include one was nice. This would actually make a great gift for someone since it has everything a person would need to paint a fun little painting! Thank you!

The colors are vibrant, colorful and go on smoothly.Included is a palette, a #2 nylon brush and a canvas. Last but not least the 24 acrylic paints. I have used this set to paint on rocks, canvas and watercolor paper with no problems at all.If you are looking for a really nice paint set this is the one. Keep it for yourself or give it as a gift.
