We love trying new things! This time, we attempted to make an abstract painting of the House Stark sigil, using the acrylic pouring technique. Check out the satisfying art video and share your thoughts below!
While we do know that the result is far from being perfect, we’re in love with this painting we made using the acrylic pouring technique. We’re huge GoT fans (Go House Stark!), by the way.
To obtain this texture and to keep the colors from blending, we mixed each color with water and floetrol. Here are the proportions we used:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
After applying the white base, we stuck the sigil previously printed and cut out on a piece of paper. We poured the acrylic paint over it, then unstuck it, and filled the area with white. The hardest part was finishing up the details of the sigil, but since it was our first try (and we’re obviously no pros), it looks pretty good, honestly. Well, that’s actually for you to judge.
