We love the effect we got by “combing” the paint on the canvas, and also how beautiful these colors look on a black background! We love experimenting with acrylic pouring, and today we have once again played with a couple of combs and three beautiful colors. Friends, if you’re gonna try this at home, please note that the acrylic paint we used was previously mixed with water and floetrol. Here are the proportions:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
After coating the canvas with a black base – made from black acrylic paint, also prepped with floetrol and water, we poured some paint on the canvas using a syringe, then used a comb to move it around. What do you think about this experiment?
