We’ve once again experimented with acrylic paint pouring and the string pull technique. The idea came as a suggestion from one of our fans and we were so so happy to try it. Watch the satisfying video until the end, to see the wonderful result.
Friends, we’ll try our best to explain all the steps. First, we mixed the acrylic paint (all the colors, including the white we apply as a base) with water and floetrol.* We applied the white base for the paint to slide better, then we poured the colors on the side, near the canvas. We dipped the string (cotton rope) in the paint then pulled it on the canvas to paint the feather. At the end, we poured the colors that are specific to the peafowl feather. What do you think of this experiment?
*Here are the exact proportions:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
