We have once again played with the acrylic pouring technique and made a painting we believe resembles a lava flow. Once again, we experimented with a skimmer and some amazing colors! Watch the satisfying video to see how it went!
Friends, we just love the color and texture of the acrylic paint pouring on the canvas. It is so satisfying to watch and such a relaxing activity after a stressful day at work! And the skimmer adds an extra, wonderful effect! After pouring the red, orange, and yellow paint we thought “hmm… maybe just a bit more black”. What do you think? Should we have left it as it was?
FYI, the acrylic paint was previously mixed with water and floetrol.
Here are the proportions:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
