Another day, another satisfying acrylic pouring experiment. This time we used a plastic bottle, in order to get this floral shape, and some really beautiful acrylic colors. Watch the satisfying video until the end to see the final result, and let us know what you think.
Friends, if you’re going to try this at home, please note that the acrylic paint was previously mixed with water and floetrol. Here are the exact proportions:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
A few drops (4-5) of silicone fluid
First, we coated the canvas with a white base made from white acrylic paint, also prepped with floetrol and water, for the colors to slide better. We’ve cut the base of a small plastic bottle, placed it in the center, and started pouring the colors. After handling the canvas, we heated the painting with a small blow torch, in order to form the cells, and that was it. We’ll try this again, with other colors, as well.
