However, if you need some beginning brushes when you are just learning to paint, these are pretty good. There's a good variety of brushes & quality is decent. Cheap enough to throw out when they wear out. ★★★★☆ I’m sure these are great for watercolor. But definitely not sturdy enough for acrylic paint in small detail paintings. ★★★★☆ These paintbrushes did fine for me with acrylic paint, did a good job of holding the paint and transferring it smoothly to different surfaces, including canvas, chipboard, acrylic, and wood. They're adequate for watercolor, and I would not recommend them for that use for anyone serious about their watercolor painting. For kids, they're great, sturdy and easy to clean and every kid gets the exact same choice of brushes so there's no squabbling over who gets to use which brush.The pack is a pretty decent deal, ideal for classes, large families, or anyone who tends to need a lot of brushes at once or go through them quickly.
