We found another a tool in the kitchen and thought we should try using it in our acrylic pouring projects. We got some really cool splashes using this cappuccino mixer and we’ll definitely use it again in our future projects. Friends, if you’re gonna try this at home, there are 2 things you should know: 1. It’s gonna get messy. 2. The acrylic paint we used in this project was previously mixed with floetrol and water. Here are the proportions:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
First we coated the canvas with a white base, made with white acrylic paint, floetrol, and water. We prepped the colors in cups, dipped the mixer in each color, turned it on top of the canvas and got some cool, round splashes. We’ll definitely use this tool again, in future projects.
