I used them for oil and acrylic painting. They take to the color very well be it dry or wet on wet.I Used gesso and that made it even more malleable as well as other mediums. The colors mixed well and although I'm a novice, it met my requirements and then some.All that being said, the canvas isn't the highest quality in the land. It has small imperfections here and there, but for what you're paying, I feel I got a good amount of bang for my buck.The size is perfect for my easle and not so big that I use to much paint on one project.I'll be ordering these again.Remember the linseed oil and happy painting, reader. ★☆☆☆☆ The wooden framings are crooked! Only 1 out of the pack was somewhat straight. I did not return because I needed a canvas for a project and with Amazon's extended shipping time I wouldn't have received a replacement in time...
