We love experimenting with acrylic pouring, different tools and methods, and pouring with the flip cup technique is not something we usually do. So, we thought we’d give it a go in today’s project. We love these colors and the pretty cells we got in the end, so we’re definitely try it again. Watch the satisfying video until the end and don’t leave before you give us a suggestion on what to do next!

Friends, if you’re interested in experimenting with acrylic pouring, you should know that the paint we use in our projects is acrylic paint, mixed with floetrol and water. Here are the proportions:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1,5 oz of floetrol
1 oz of water
We always begin by coating the canvas with a base (made with acrylic paint, floetrol, and water), so the poured paint can easily slide on the canvas. We love forming cells within the paint, and sometimes we do that by mixing a few drops of silicone fluid in the acrylic paint, while other times, we just spray the painting with a silicone spray. In this project, we sprayed the canvas with a silicone spray right after adding the white base, and we used a small torch at the end, in order to form the cells. For this art video, we poured all the colors in cup, then flipped it on the canvas. What do you think about this method?
