Experimenting with acrylic pouring and the string pull method is so satisfying! The string pull method is not easy, but if you keep trying, you can get so many amazing results. This time we played with fire colors, and went for a black and purple background. Watch the satisfying video until the end to see the final painting, and share your thoughts below!
Friends, for the string pull technique, we prep the acrylic paint the same as for acrylic pouring, with water and floetrol. Here are the proportions:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
For the string pull method, we use cotton twine. After adding the base, we soak the twine in the paint, carefully place the strings on the canvas, then pull them. The effect is stunning! Do you agree?
