Circle Line Art School Episode 548: How to Draw a Landscape Sketch and Cottage.
How to Draw a Cottage in a Landscape Step-by-Step:
1: Draw a horizon line.
2: Draw a vertical line for the near corner of a building.
3: Draw lines towards a point on the left and right of the vertical corner, towards the ends of the horizon line, the two vanishing points on the horizon line, as we are using two-point perspective.
4: Sketch a building, using these receding lines for depth.
5: Add some shading and shadows.
(For this drawing I use a 4B pencil, any dark pencil will do.)
6: Draw a near horizontal line for the edge of a lake.
7: Draw some trees of a variety of sizes, with the horizon line going through the tree trunks.
8: Draw an outline of some big mountains.
9: Add some shading to the mountains.
10: Draw some clouds.
11: Add a few details if you want.
