★★★★☆ This is a good starter set but if you plan to do Diamond Painting for awhile, then find another set. I just started so it will get me going. The pens are just like the ones you get in a kit. Not a sturdy pen, but there are a variety of sizes. I do like the trays that will help me keep track of the drills and let me have more than one color out at a time. The main selling feature for me was a total FLOP. In the photos, it shows the pens with the grips on them. I really wanted these because I need a thicker pen to hold. As you can see in my photos, they were not on the pens. You have to put them on! And let me tell you, it is not an easy feat. I have tried to put each one onto each pen and they are way too small. I will have to wait for my nephew to come over this weekend and see what he might be able to do. They literally slide onto the pen about an inch and will stop. Even with twists and turns, they just will not go onto the pen.I am giving it a 4-star rating because of the photo showing them already on the pens and this not being totally factual.

★★★★☆ I got this because i'm addicted to diamond painting and wanted to level up. All of the items worked except for the clear case for beads. The little boxes are far too small to fit all the beads meaning you have to find a secondary storage unit. This defeats the purpose. I was very upset because the clear storage unit is the main reason I bought it in the first place. And the clear storage case was extremely cheap and broke easily. All other items are amazing especially the roller. I didn't know how much a difference it would make but it makes my work 100 times better.
