If you use epoxy resin this is the perfect thing for you !! I keep my house cold so I get micro bubbles pretty bad. But I use this to heat the resin before coloring and pouring and I also use it to marble the colors... it’s great
I really like this dual setting heat gun. I've been looking for a heat gun that would heat things up without blowing them all over the place for quite a while and figured I would have to settle for using two different guns. I have been pleasantly surprised with this great gun! One setting works well for embossing, etc. The lower setting gets plenty hot but doesn't blow things around with intense air pressure. The higher setting is perfect for embossing as well (especially, the chunkier or bigger embossing powders), and also removing sticky stuff, popping air bubbles, etc. Activities that require more power and higher heat. I removed some sticky stuff with the lower setting - but was able to turn up the heat and power on the stubborn spots. I liked being able to start more gently on my fragile (glass) project and pump up the volume only on the parts that were tough to remove. I hung onto my Darice heat gun because it seems to be a bit stronger than even the high setting on this gun, but this is my new favorite. It's the one taking up valuable space on my table. And to make it even better, Amazon delivered it the same day. Ahhhh...I love Amazon. And this heat gun. I recommend!
Bought this in October and decided to bring out and make some ornaments. Did not work at all. Complete waste of money. Return window passed four days ago.Update: Seller contacted me and sent me a new tool. So far so good. Works fine at both temps. Now to see if it lasts. Update to 4 stars!
