★★★☆☆ My niece was so excited to try out her new paint set. This set itself is a great deal, as it comes with paint, an easel, a smock, paint brushes, and canvas with pre-made pictures. However, she was beyond disappointed to see that the pictures were all some type of vehicle or army set up (i.e. airplanes, racing cars, motorcycles, and an army tank??). This wouldn't have been an issue if we could see the variety of images before purchasing. The only one advertised was the airplane.

He’s very intrigued with the different canvases and has experience painting at his Montessori, lhowever, the description states it is recommended for 5mo+ but when I opened the package it says 7+ lol. Quite the discrepancy, so parents of toddlers beware, if your little one has no experience with watercolors and brushes, might wanna start with something a bit simpler.

It has a wonderful vinyl case, with handles which is perfect for carrying and storing the set between uses. The set includes not only the paints but a chart that reflects what colors of the paints you can use to make a color not included by mixing two together. No need to worry about your child clothes while they paint as there is a very nice paint jacket for them to wear. It is vinyl and easily wiped down after uses if it gets messy, or let it dry and it will show the artist has been at work. The paint tray and easel are very useful and nice. Perfect size for a child or young teen. While the tray can hold many different colors and allows you to mix on it as well, the easel holds the canvases you are painting on. Yes, there are several canvases included so you will not need to purchase anything extra for the child to get started. The paint brushes are cool! They are translucent and very cool looking but yet functional. This set is inviting for a child as the colorful design pulls out the creativity! Pretty amazing painting kit, and cost effective would be generous as the supplies if bought individually would be quite a but higher than the price of the set. Recommended for the artist in the family!
