★★★★★ My daughter loves arts and crafts and I was looking for a new set of tube paints and replacement brushes for her when I found this. I have a stack of canvas panels, which I previously bought for her, that are the perfect size for the little easel. She grabbed those immediately to practice for her fancy stretched canvas. That is being saved for just the right project for now. It is tightly stretched and smooth. I think I’ll need to be investing in some more of those soon.The brushes are really nice quality and come in a wide range of shapes and sizes to inspire. I personally am not familiar with using the sponge or trowel with painting but they are also good quality and probably of some use for painting, mixing or cleaning brushes. The paints that she has tried so far have good consistency and are smooth and easy to work with. There are lots of colors to choose from and its nice to have that selection to know her favorites. Everything cleans up easily with water.The easel is decently made, with latches to hold everything closed when stored. When set up, the easel stands securely in 1 of 4 increments which angle your panel however you find comfortable. The drawer is large enough to hold all the paints, but not all the brushes. That is fine since they the set comes with a brush case and one usually doesn’t need to have all brushes at the ready.It is a nice set and I certainly appreciate not having to store a bulky easel and have a place to keep paints readily available.

★★★★★ I started taking an art class and we've now moved on to doing acrylic painting and this setup has really helped. I wasn't looking for a big easel but this table top one has been working out great for me. I just lay an old rag or towel down do I don't make a big mess and have been using this to paint on different sized canvases and even some art paper. The canvas that came with this are similar to the ones I purchased separately and was really good to paint on. The paints that came with this set has been more than enough for what I needed them for. You get so many beautiful colors and mixing them has been easy, when I've needed to mix them. When done, I'm able to store everything inside the drawer so I don't have to worry about losing anything. The brushes that came with this set are the only ones I've been using but did buy an scraper to help with certain things I was trying to do. No matter which brush I use, the paint goes on smoothly and I have not had one brush start to shed on my paintings. Definitely a good kit to buy if you're a beginner or getting it for someone who is a beginner like me.
