You know us. When it comes to acrylic pouring and string pull method, we always try new things. In today’s fluid art experiment, we tried pulling 4 strings in one move. Many of our friends have suggested we tried a colorful base, so we gave it a try and made a sky blue background. Friends, for the string pull technique, we prep the acrylic paint the same as for acrylic pouring, with water and floetrol. Here are the proportions:
1 oz of acrylic paint
1 oz of floetrol
0.5 oz of water
In order to form the tiny cells you can see in the final result, we sprayed the painting with a silicone spray. For the string pull method, we used cotton twine and a small piece of wire. After soaking the strings in the paint, we carefully placed them on the canvas, an pulled them all in one move. What do you think it looks like?
