It cleans off easily by using a painter's knife and a bit of odorless paint thinner on a paper towel after scraping the paint off. I am using this for oil paints. ★★★★★ I'm seeing a lot of one star reviews complaining that this is not a clear palette. The palette comes with a protective craft paper lining on both sides that should be peeled off. Thankfully, the manufacturer / seller has started adding a sticker on the palette explaining that. The lining is not super easy to peel, but not impossible either. I had to scratch at the edges for a bit to get it to lift off, and eventually it worked after I got it wet with some water.I ordered the 14 inch one and the pallete is a good size. It's lightweight and feels very sturdy. As expected,bthis thing is a fingerprint magnet. I've only used it once with acrylic paints and the paint washed off pretty easily and didn't stain the palette. With extended use, however, I won't be surprised if it does get stained, but honestly that's not a big deal for me. I just want a surface I can mix my paintings on. I give it 3 outa 5 stars because the plastic seems to be a pit cheap ...I've used so many other things to paint on and I have never needed to clean after every use... when I felt as if there was enough paint accumulating I would peel it off with no problem, but with this product😓 I've gotta a bit trouble peeling it off. It doesn't peel off easy like most items I've used so that being said it's not that easy to clean unless you're cleaning after every use and who really wants to do that.... not me at least View all reviews
