Watercolor painting for beginners. Neuschwanstein Castle Painting Tutorial: How to draw Germany’s Real-Life Disney Castle In Watercolor? How to paint fantasy castle?

Neuschwanstein Castle is the landmark architecture of Bavaria, Germany. Although this majestic castle requires no introduction, the castle is a 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace on a hill above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen.

This castle also served the inspiration to Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle and similar structures.

My Experience :

Painting “Neuschwanstein Castle” is probably every landscape artist’s dream and I am no exception.

I always wanted to paint this grand, resplendent and august architecture. I am so much thankful to my German friends who made up my mind.

I am not sure how much justice I could do to this awesome, glorious and royal castle, but I really loved the journey of drawing and painting it.

The view which I have painted is as seen from Marie’s Bridge. The bridge was named by Ludwig II of Bavaria after his mother, Marie of Prussia.
