★★★★★ These brushes are pretty standard and basic, but great nonetheless! I find it so annoying when cheap paint brushes shed and make a mess, so I was happy that I was able to purchase durable brushes for a decent price. I would recommend these brushes to people who are beginning to paint, but don't want to spend a bunch of money on professional brushes.

★★★☆☆ I wouldn't suggest these if you are thinking of doing some serious work that could last for hours.The bristle attachment at the end of the brushes kept falling off. When I applied them back to the brush, the product would need glue or a tight hand grip to keep the brush attached to the pen.I would recommend this for kids to play with and beginners, but not for serious work.

★★★★☆ I've been an oil and acrylic painter for a long time and have to admit that the majority of the time, I'm simply TOO LAZY to clean my brushes. Especially when I'm painting with oil. I got into the habit of picking up cheaper packs of brushes, that way if I don't get the brushes cleaned after use, I'm not ruining a higher priced brush. When I used this set, I did clean them and after being cleaned they still look really good. This set has pleasantly surprised me.Soooo... I saw these in the two pack, the price was right so I grabbed them to add to my "too lazy to clean them" brush collection.I used them on an acrylic 3 panel painting this past weekend (a photo of one of the panels is with this review but it's NOT completed yet) and have to say, for the price point on these I was actually impressed. They are quite stiff. I personally like stiffer bristle brushes because I feel like I have more control over where the paint goes. There was NO shedding which shocked me because so many of the cheaper brushes shed so much. They also did really well with holding and applying the paint to create exactly what I wanted.I'd say definitely worth the price. I did go ahead and give them a quick clean and they are ready to go for finishing the panels next time I sit down to paint.
