  1. It seems I always have questions but they help me learn lol! How did you pick up the paint on the square headed brush to make the tree trunks? I want to try and replicate that kind of look but I don't want to assume you did it one way and the trees look a total mess

  2. Thank you for this! I'm trying to learn acrylic painting so all these videos are awesome. An idea I've played with in watercolor is icebergs with a Stormy sky. Thank you once again! 🙂

  3. hey ryan! i just want to say thank u because ur tutorials helped me to learn a lot.. im only a self taught and some of my works i ended up throwing away coz it feels its a little weird?? haha but ur tutorials made me understand some of the easiest and best techniques.. keep it up!

  4. Just out of curiosity, how's the humidity where you're painting? I always have a problem with paints blending INTO the lower layer when I want them to go OVER it. Sometimes I even resort to a hair dryer because I'm tired of waiting for them to dry enough. (Don't know how oil painters manage.)

  5. Ryan, I absolutely love your videos. They are so very helpful and I love the way you explain everything step by step. However, you keep saying "square headed" brushes. I have looked for them at Michaels under Artists Loft like you said. They do not have them and have never heard of "square headed" brushes. Are you talking about "wash or flat" brushes?? The manager is an experienced painter and said they do not carry anything called "square headed" brush. Please help so I can attempt to do what you so effortless do. I am so grateful for you and your help. Thank you from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

  6. omg! you're such a talented painter i love your painting so much and i also get to understand more by watching you thanks again for sharing

  7. LOVE your 10 (or 13- lol) minute paintings! In your list of materials I don't see anything about what you are painting on. What are the dimensions, and is a canvas pad, canvas paper or canvas board?

  8. Would like to see more lessons, if they were more then 10 minutes.
Do you have any step by step lessons. ?

  9. Just found your tutorials and finished trying this one! Thank you for posting. Simple but with dramatic effects and you allow room for personalization. Truly a fun way to practice different techniques. Keep it up!
