  1. So true ! I started to buy all kinds of colors and now i am stucked. Have to go back to basic 😛 I struggle with to get the nice transision. Making greys is not to use complementary colors yes ? First you make the complementary and then the 5 in values ? Very confusing for me how to make the transisions yes i hope you can explain it for me in text. Among others i have a tube of hookers green, what colors a good to use with that to make earth colors ? Thank you for great lessons 🙂

  2. Great questions everyone! 🙂 Thanks for answering, Ryan! I love your 10-minute painting tutorials.

  3. Great tips Ryan! Colour mixing and values are still something I'm in the process of mastering?

  4. i am glad you said it: I will never buy animal based paint. I would not enjoy a stroke of any colour on my canvas if I know an animal has been killed for the creation of this colour

  5. I have watched many great painters and all have taught me so much in very different ways. I appreciate your constant instruction with all of your strokes while you are painting which most artists can not do while they are painting. It is very difficult to use both sides of the brain at the same time! Lol I love how you constantly use art vocabulary that is so formally educational that allows for a more well rounded instructional setting. You easily convey your art knowledge that makes you a wonderful art teacher. You could easily be teaching for a university but make your self available for us so thank you so much for your time and effort! You have no idea how much you have taught me!

  6. Thank you for sharing your talent!! Very much appreciated. With that being said, Keep them coming!

  7. help me ,I need drawing like you ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  9. Ryan, I am painting over something, first with primer. I can still see the old painting on the back. Do you know if it would be okay to prime the back too?
