  1. This is the first of your paintings that I've attempted and I'm so happy with my results! I'm a beginner……this is the fourth painting I've done in my life. Seriously. Thank you for producing short, straight to the point instructional videos. I appreciate that you do it with a limited palette which is easy on my budget and teaches me how to mix paint. My favorite painting channel!!

  2. AWESOME TOTALLY AWESOME…. I love following your work, almost as much as I love nature..Thanks you are the best instructor ever.

  3. Does Acrylic paint do well on 2000 gauge paper? I have no canvas but lots of lining paper , brushes and paint .. most of all I have time and a need to do this 🙂 but would love to try your Technics and apply them into something I can frame and hang in my own home .
less water? more water? and I love your videos I have only found you recently but watched so many already . keep them coming .

  4. Nice! When you speak of primary blue, is that more of a cobalt blue? I have only seen primary blue a couple of times but see lots of other blues listed by various companies. Thanks Ryan!

  5. Thank you for yet another stunning nature painting! You make it look so simple and fun. I eagerly look forward towards your tutorials every Saturday. May I also suggest you to do a tutorial on Pretoria's Jacaranda-lined street, if possible. I am sure you will be able to bring it out beautifully 🙂

  6. Magnificent! I love how you they look like you spent hours doing in just 10 minutes! It's such a gift to share your talent with us! It gives inspiration to everyone who paints regardless of what level! Thanks for another great video!!

  7. I'm so excited by these beautiful little paintings you do. I love that you use just the basic primary colors, just makes doing them so approachable. Very happy that I finally came in and checked you out. Nice videos.. Thank you..

  8. Fab tutorials! Love this one. Need to ask what easel are you using? I like that the brackets aren't in the way of the canvas.

  9. Thank you so much. I've been working with pastels, mostly pastel pencils because I love doing portraits, but I really am a newbie when it comes to art so want to try a new medium. I find your instruction to be extremely helpful, love the real time so that we can follow along with what you're doing. I am TERRIBLE at landscapes but want to learn more so will be trying this out myself instead of just watching LOL. I really would love to try acrylics with portraits – but that's a long way away to try that. Thanks again…so glad I found your channel.

  10. hi Ryan I just want to say thank you very much and hope you're doing well
also I just want to ask If you can draw a real face by acrylic painting in your next video
